1 - Vision Boards
Vision boards are a great technique to visualize your goals. They make your dreams almost tangible. With a vision board, you can present all kinds of things, whether visions, dreams, goals or plans. It is a good tool for planning and keeping you motivated and is very easy and fast to create.
The effect of a vision board is enormous.
2 - Creative visualization
Creative visualization is a technique designed to help you sharpen your imagination.
Sometimes we want multiple things and it can become difficult to decide on the exact thing that you want or the exact goal you want to achieve, therefore, this exercise is especially good for you if you have difficulty with deciding what you want or what goal you want to achieve.
For example: take a chocolate bar you love to eat. Hold the chocolate bar in your hand and close your eyes. Focus on what you’re feeling. Feel the shape of the chocolate bar and its surface. Let it slide gently through your hand. Always keep your mind focused on the sense of touch. Then place the chocolate bar on a table, out of your hand.
Then try to remember what the chocolate bar felt like.
Repeat this step for the remaining senses:
The sense of taste: Remember how it tastes
The sense of hearing: Remember what it sounds like (let it drop to the table)
The sense of smell: Remember how it smells
The sense of sight: Remember what it looks like
Practice this technique as often as you like. It will help you to visualize your wishes and desires in your mind.
3 – A Focus Wheel
A Focus wheel is a basic yet recommended approach to move your concentration to more positive thoughts and perspectives with regards to the things you need to draw in. Get a bit of paper, draw a little circle in the middle and write down what it is that you want.
For example: You may want money or good health or a loving partner.
Your next step is to write down a positive thought you have about the subject, placing this positive thought around the edge of the focus circle.
For example: You may want good health and you want to join the gym to help you to achieve this goal, so you may write down a thought like “I have the dedication to go to the gym 5 times a week”
Continue onward, by writing down as many positive thoughts as you can discover around the subject matter of your goal consistently around the circle. In the long run, your page will be loaded with positive thoughts that will help you to support your belief in your goal and manifest it. To take it a step further, you may add this focus wheel to your vision board (if you have one) or you may simply pin it to your fridge or front door to keep you associated with it’s positivity.
4 - List of Gratitude
Creating a list of gratitude helps you to maintain a positive mindset.
What you are going to do is write down what you are thankful for, it can be anything big or small, think about why you are grateful, who you owe it to and how it happened.
For example: you can be thankful for being healthy,
Why? because it keeps your body strong,
Who do you owe it to? the friend who introduced you to that certain gym with the best equipment,
How did it happened? You joined the gym your friend introduced you to and you go to that gym 5 times a week and workout for 1 hour.
You can create a list in 2 ways: You can create a daily list and a general list.
Your daily list will include all the positive things that happened to you on that day, this will help you to process and reflect on that day.
For example: your friend bought you a cup of coffee, you can be thankful that your friend did this for you.
Your general list can include things that you are thankful for in general, like the example of being healthy. You may also be thankful for having a house, a car, a family who supports you etc.
As you have already learned, the Law of Attraction only works with a positive mindset.
5 - Practice Mindfulness
Many people live their daily lives worrying about the future or even the past, they do not live in the present moment. Going through life in this way wastes valuable time and energy.
You need to perceive things more consciously in order to attract what you want. By simply being aware, you enjoy life’s minor successes. Before you do something, say it to yourself, out loud or even say it in your mind.
For example: You are in a grocery store and you want to buy pasta so you say things like “I will now find the isle where the pasta is kept”
This is a conscious way of showing yourself what you are actually doing at that moment.
It may seem a bit strange to you in the beginning but you will soon realize why this exercise makes sense as you will become more attentive throughout the day and feel more successful in every task you do. It will also make you feel more productive as you will suddenly realize how much you are actually doing in a day.
In order to use the Law of Attraction for yourself, you must consciously observe your feelings and thoughts. This exercise will help you to sharpen your own awareness.
6 - Free Yourself
To use the Law of Attraction successfully you must free yourself from all internal barriers.
Wipe out thoughts from your mind like “What do others think of me?” or “What if someone sees me?” or “What will people say about me?”
For example: when you are out and about, play your favorite song loud in your car and enjoy it, enjoy the beat, enjoy the lyrics, people may start to look at you, but in most cases, they will forget about you by the next day.
