3. Layered goals
Layered goals are goals which relate to the same goal with different levels of priority and difficulty.
Examples of layered goals are:
- Top Priority: Go to the gym and work out 3 times a week
- Medium Priority: Go to the gym and work out 4 times a week
- Low Priority: Go to the gym and work out 5 times a week

4. Rate goals
Rate goals are goals which specify actions repeatedly done over time.
Examples of rate goals include:
- Read 3 books per month
- Go to the gym and work out 3 times a week
- Write in a journal every single day

5. Limit goals
Limit goals are goals which set boundaries.
Examples of limit goals are:
- Spend less than $500 on new clothes
- Go to bed before 10pm every night
- Take less than 1 hour for lunch while at work

6. Exclusion goals
Exclusion goals are goals which state things that you will not do.
Examples of exclusion goals are:
- Do not watch TV after 9pm

Exclusion goals help you to decide in advance which activities you will not do.
7. Incredible goals
Incredible goals are goals which are highly optimistic, far fetched, or uncommonly aggressive.
Examples of incredible goals are:
- Become CEO of a major corporation
- Write a best selling fantasy novel
- Win a Nobel prize
Incredible goals describe visions of ultimate success.
Although some of these goals may seem minor insignificant at, by achieving them you begin to motivate yourself and when you begin to motivate yourself you set yourself on the path to achieve greater and bigger goals in life which leads to you vision of ultimate success in your life.
