At some point most you may have come across the term “The Law Of Attraction” but what exactly is The Law of Attraction?
Many people think The Law Of Attraction is some type of supernatural magic, however, it is a universal and scientifically proven law which is very real and has a certain influence on our lives whether we believe in it or not – just like the law of gravity.
So, you have 2 choices:
1. You
ignore the law of gravity and let the baseball hit the ground, or
2. You
catch the baseball?
The same principal applies to The Law Of Attraction; however, it makes much more sense to lay out predictable events for your own benefit to profit from the law of attraction and make your dreams come true.
Whether we are aware of it or not, our minds are constantly processing thoughts.
A person’s thoughts are believed to be made up of energy and if that energy is positive then it will attract positive energy into that person’s life and if its negative then it will attract negative energy. Being positive and attracting positive energy into your life can improve every aspect of your life like your health, wealth and relationships with the people in your life.
Our thoughts are the signals we send out into our environment. To use The Law Of Attraction, it is crucial whether these thoughts are positive or negative. In other words, you attract what you think.
The Law Of Attraction is general and applies to everything, be it a person, an object or an attitude to certain things. Even emotions and thoughts are enough to pull good things into your life. I am certain that at some point you have heard terms like “be positive” or “think happy thoughts”, whether knowing or unknowing, by thinking good and positive thoughts you are using The Law Of Attraction to attract better things into your life.
The Law Of Attraction uses the power of the mind to manifest our thoughts into our life, basically all thoughts turn into things eventually and that is the reason why it is so important to constantly think positive thoughts.
Put simply, The Law Of Attraction is the ability to attract what you want into your life by focusing on it with your mind.
Regardless of your age, religion or the country you live in, we are all susceptible to the laws of the Universe, one of those laws being The Law Of Attraction whether we believe in it or not.
When you sit back and think about it, The Law Of Attraction is constantly at work within our daily lives whether we are aware of it or not.
Still not convinced?
Think back to a time when you really wanted something or wanted to achieve a particular goal, think about how you constantly focused on it, spoke about it and took the necessary steps to get the thing you wanted or achieve the goal you set out to achieve and then one day you finally got the thing you desired or achieved that goal you set, that my fellow people is The Law Of Attraction at work.
The History of The Law Of Attraction
The Law Of Attraction has been
popular in recent years due to the movie and book called The Secret
and it may seem like it’s a fairly new concept in modern society – I also
thought so when I first came across the term “The Law Of Attraction” until I
started doing some digging on it’s origins.
Did you know that the origins of The Law Of Attraction dates back to the time of Buddha?
The Law Of Attraction was first believed to have been thought to man by Buddha himself where he wanted man to know that ‘’what you have become is what you have thought’’.
Then in 1877, the term “Law of Attraction” was mentioned in a book by author Madame Helena Blavatsky whose book spoke about an attractive power existing between elements of spirit.
In addition, Thomas Troward shared Madame Helena Blavatsky's belief that we will learn the most by combining teachings from a range of spiritual traditions in the 19th Century.
In the early 20th century, more authors emerged with books based on The Law Of Attraction.
In 1906, William Walker Atkinson
believed that practitioners of The Law Of Attraction should focus on
strengthening their willpower, improving their focus and developing magnetism
that attracts good things into their lives.
In 1910, Wallace Delois Wattles, published a book called The Science Of Getting Rich which created a new found interest on the Law of Attraction subject. A key message from Wattle’s book is that we should develop our own manifestation potential rather than assuming that we need to be taught by experts in the field.
In 1937, Napoleon Hill (I’m certain some of you are familiar with this name) published a book called Think And Grow Rich which outlined his Law of Attraction techniques.
In the mid to late 20th century, The Law Of Attraction became more popular and influential with authors like Esther Hicks and Jerry Hicks whose books spoke more about how The Law Of Attraction works and how you can use The Law Of Attraction to manifest anything you desire.
However, in more recent times, author Rhonda Byrne published her book called The Secret which rose to international fame and which made The Law Of Attraction more popular than ever before. Byrne’s famous book spread the word that we all have the power to create our reality and our “thoughts can become things”. Celebrities like Will Smith and Jim Carrey have spoken publicly about using The Law Of Attraction and the positive experiences that it has brought into their lives.

at this point, right?
